What is APA?

APA is one style of citation, used to provide credit for sources.  There are three categories that APA defines:

  • The format of your paper (such as fonts, spacing, title page, etc.)
  • In-text citations (i.e. credit provided inside of your text)
  • References (i.e. full information for sources)
