Wait – There is more than one Ebsco database? How do I pick a specific database?

Answer

Ebsco is a company that provides subscriptions to libraries, such as databases.  A database is a collection of content that could be packaged based on subjects (such as Computers & Applied Sciences) or a type of publication (such as Newspaper Source Plus).

The NTC library currently provides access to 55 database options through Ebsco.  You can choose to search specific collections by visiting our Databases A-Z page and choosing “Ebsco.”

Once you log in as a NTC student or staff member, you can check the box next to as many databases as are relevant to your search:

For more detailed steps on using select Ebsco databases, you can check out our EBSCOhost Databases Guide, or contact our library team to learn more!

Ebsco is only one of the companies that we work with!  You can explore all of our collections on the NTC Library’s Databases A-Z page.
