How can I start a brand new search (or remove filters) using the library's main discovery search tool?
Answer
The NTC Library WorldCat Discovery (main search) tool has "sticky" filters. If you select a filter, such as limiting results to print books, this will continue to stay on even if you enter new search terms.
To clear your filters, you can take either of these action steps:
- You can click on the NTC logo in the header
- You can click "Clear Filters" just above the filters on the left side.
You can also manually change any of the filters you have selected by clicking the 'x' on that item at the top of the results page. For example, this is what an active filter looks like that limits results to articles. Remove this to also view books, ebooks, videos, and other formats.
